Welcome! I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor with BCACC in private practice. I bring over 16 years of extensive experience in the mental health and personal growth fields. I practice from a trauma-informed lens to provide a warm and welcoming space. I work with adults, groups and facilitate workshops for individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, low-mood or depression, relationship challenges, grief and loss. I also provide therapy for pain and stress management particularly after an accident or trauma. I offer mentoring and intuitive life coaching. I provide counselling in English and Spanish.
I use a holistic and integrative approach to counselling that includes understanding your body and mind connection alongs with other evidence-based modalities to support your understanding of self. I have specialized training in Trauma Therapy and Integrative Somatic Therapy Practice.
My role as a therapist is to empower you to take back your life and live it as fully as you can. One of my strongest beliefs is that we all do the best we know how to, moment by moment... because if we knew a better way, that's what we would have done!
