Hi, I’m Sandy Kirkwood, the founder of Integrate Counselling. I’m passionate about counselling because I know that with the right therapist at the right moment in your life, it can be both helpful and life changing. I know this because, over the years, I have witnessed so many clients move through their struggles to gain a deeper understanding of who they are and what they truly want. I have gathered this particular team of therapists together because I know how they work with clients. They have been either close colleagues of mine or past supervisees. I have witnessed their warmth, wisdom and effectiveness in working with clients.

Why choose us? We get excited about helping you to build your self-trust and your inner well-being. We believe we all have certain life themes, recurring patterns and wounds from past trauma. Although healing can sometimes take time, it is possible to get to a point where our wounds and our themes become our friends and our gifts, not our triggers.

Each of us brings different specialties in terms of issues that may be impacting you, such as trauma, grief, ADHD, autism, relationships, clinical supervision and more. We care deeply about meeting you wherever you are at and walking beside you on your journey. Our approach is holistic and culturally-sensitive. We work both online & in person in 5 locations.

In this 4-week group we will explore about how trauma may have impacted you in terms of your sense of self and your understanding of power. We will focus on building your sense of safety in relationships, boundaries, and grounded self-esteem. New Counsellors' Experiential Toolkit

The emphasis of this group/workshop is to support new therapists in building confidence in experiential exercises to use with clients. You will learn and practise experiential techniques for working with some common client presenting concerns of low self-esteem, inner critic, relationship conflicts and childhood trauma. If you have been wanting to deepen your own satisfaction with your client sessions and help your clients to create meaningful change in their lives, then talk therapy is not enough.
