Hello and Welcome - I’m Sandy Kirkwood, founder of Integrate Counselling. We are a team of heart-centered therapists – Khushi, Neelu, Nate, Spencer, Esther, Liz and myself – and we bring empathy, warmth and wisdom to this work. We believe that if you feel at ease about who you are on the inside, it improves every aspect of your life – your relationships, your stress level, your work-life, your self-trust and your inner well-being. And we are pleased to now offer low-cost counselling through our Graduate Intern, Liz Greenslade.

Whether you’re navigating the complexities of a relationship, working through personal struggles, or seeking to heal from past trauma, we can help. Our therapists integrate a variety of evidence-based approaches depending on your specific needs and goals. We are trained in EMDR, AEDP, Internal Family Systems, Couples Therapy, and more.

Each of us brings different specialties in terms of issues that may be impacting you, such as trauma, grief work, ADHD, autism, burnout, relationships, anxiety, self-worth, clinical supervision and more. Group Supervision/Consultation for 2 – 4 participants: I offer clinical supervision and consultation to individuals and small groups of beginning, intermediate and experienced counselling professionals. In this 4-week group we will explore about how trauma may have impacted you in terms of your sense of self and your understanding of power. We will focus on building your sense of safety in relationships, boundaries, and grounded self-esteem. New Counsellors' Experiential Toolkit

The emphasis of this 4-week group is to support new therapists in building confidence in experiential exercises to use with clients. You will learn and practise, in a safe and confidential space, experiential techniques for working with some common client presenting concerns of low self-esteem, relationship conflicts, inner critic and childhood trauma. If you have been wanting to deepen your own satisfaction with your client sessions and help your clients to create meaningful change in their lives, then talk therapy is not enough! This group is available in person on the Sunshine Coast and online.
