I know from personal experience that mental health struggles can have a devastating impact on our ability to live full lives. It's that experience that led me to become a social worker, and to train as both an individual and family therapist. In our work together, we will develop the skills and strategies that you need to find relief from your symptoms. We will also help you to explore the root causes of those symptoms, so that you can achieve long-term change. I have worked in community mental health for 15+ years, so I can also help you navigate the broader mental health system.
Drawing on a variety of therapeutic approaches, I practice from an anti-oppressive and non-judgemental stance. Folks of all genders, sexual orientations, abilities, ethnicities, and backgrounds are welcome. I strive to create a compassionate space where we can collaborate to help you develop a deeper self-understanding.
I am currently accepting new clients! I provide fifteen minute phone consultations free of charge to anyone interested in learning more about me and my practice. I am a member of the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and the Ontario Association of Social Workers.
