I believe in working with the strengths of the client and not uniquely to improve their challenges. I aim to understand their personal story by actively listening to them so they can achieve their goals. I only see clients who are 16 years or older. I do not carry out psychoeducational assessments.
My therapeutic approach is eclectic which includes the following types of therapy: cognitive-behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, psychodynamic and brief solution focused therapy.
I prefer to work in a collaborative manner with young adults going through challenges with school, personal relationships, adaptations, parenting, family and work. I am a parent of two children which makes me empathetic to the unique challenges and stressors that arise in a family. I provide parental coaching.
