Hey, I am Ida- welcome! My approach is completely client-centred and grounded in empathy, authenticity and collaboration. Inclusivity and integrity are primary pillars in my practice with rapport-building being a fundamental component of a competent counselling culture. I aim to support individuals in finding balance within their lives and in their minds.
An active advocate and ally in raising awareness of mental health issues within our community. An alumni of the University of Toronto with an honours bachelor of science degree in Psychology and Physiology. I’ve also completed an Addiction and Mental Health graduate certificate and Master’s in Counselling Psychology while simultaneously working in the field.
I truly believe that alongside a trusted and talented therapists, individuals can achieve a sense of safety to explore their health and wellbeing on a deep and meaningful level. Together goal can be established and trajectory of the treatment plan are discussed to allow individuals self-agency over heir emotional, mental and physical states.
