I provide a welcoming, supportive, non-judgmental environment for my clients working with adults and children using interventions that include strengths-based approaches, Attachment-based, mindfulness, Internal Family Systems and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I work through a trauma-informed lens assisting clients with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, abuse, career counselling, life skills, grief counselling, life changes and spirituality.
I have been passionate about the well-being of others for my entire career, working in the mental health field as a Registered Nurse, an Educator, and a Counsellor. An extensive part of my time has included working with youth and adults experiencing a wide range of issues in acute care, educational settings, and currently in Private Practice.
I believe that all individuals deserve mental wellness. To reach that, I create an atmosphere of complete acceptance and empathy for each client. I allow my clients to go at their own pace and I use an approach that allows clients to realize their own unique strengths, while assisting with individualized coping skills.
