I am Omushkego Cree/First Nation Social Worker offering counseling/psychotherapy for Indigenous people (16 years old and older). I offer virtual, and telephone counselling in Ontario. I am a licensed social worker and counselor in good standing with the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers. I offer client-centered, Land-Based Indigenous Focusing Oriented Therapy that sees you as your own healer. I will help you understand the impacts of colonialism and inter-generational trauma. You will gain skills to soothe and manage your body, mind, spirit and emotions, learn traditional teachings and see your strengths.
As my mother and grandparents attended residential school, I empathize with the pain and disconnection that this continues to cause in individuals. families and communities.
