A large part of the change that takes place due to therapeutic work is the relationship between client and counsellor. I strive to make that relationship a meaningful one based on respect and compassion. I bring with me a wide range of knowledge, skills and education and am happy to continue learning both from and for my clients. I consider my role in the lives of my clients to be a great privilege and I sincerely look forward to working with each of my clients both in short term and long term work.
Helen holds a BA Psychology from Queen's University (2000) and obtained her Master's degree in Counselling Psychology from Simon Fraser University (2011). Helen has extensive experience providing both group and individual therapy to those struggling with trauma and abuse, addictions, depression/anxiety or in need of guidance through a challenging life transition.
