I am currently accepting new clients! I’m a Certified Canadian Counsellor (C.C.C.) and counselling therapist with a Master’s in Counselling Psychology & Psychotherapy from the University of Toronto. Growing up in South Africa nurtured my appreciation for diversity, community, and compassion. My time volunteering in neurology wards in Cape Town hospitals allowed me to support people from many cultural backgrounds and from different walks of life. I have learned deep respect for each person’s story, and these experiences continue to shape my warm, grounding, and client-centred approach to therapy.
I have experience in working with individuals struggling with anxiety, cultural and gender identity issues, depression, family conflict, interpersonal issues, job-related and life transition challenges, self-esteem issues, and trauma. I practice from an integrative approach using: CBT, EFT, Mindfulness approaches, and Schema therapy.
