For those struggling with trauma, anxiety, depression, or other challenges to your mental health, The Heitmann Centre offers experience and expertise in multiple modalities including DBT and EMDR therapy in a fully virtual environment. Many clients appreciate the ability to do some pretty difficult work from the comfort of their own homes and avoid travel time to and from sessions in our hectic world. We also offer the first session absolutely FREE as we know the best predictor of good outcomes with therapy is the right fit. We hope this helps you in finding that fit.
Regardless of the specific challenge to your mental health, therapy is hard work. We know that each person we see is strong, has survived and does not need to be rescued but rather supported and guided to his/her/their own decisions. We can’t do the work for you but we can support and guide you through it.
Cara (she/her) treats everyone she works with with respect and care. Her primary goal is to provide a safe and stable environment in which she can guide and inspire people in finding ways to shift old patterns that stand in the way of building the life they want to live.
