| Français I'm a music therapist. Anyone who needs different space to explore - whether to process what they are experiencing, or to develop a creative project - can benefit from my general practice. In my specialty, I often work with young children who are manifesting developmental differences or symptoms like anxiety, and with older children who are encountering obstacles related to a diagnosis or to trauma. I also offer support for young adults, including adapted piano and composition lessons at all levels. My approach is neuroaffirming and participant-led.
With a colleague, I also offer team-based music therapy for children that takes into account Amelia Oldfield's work with families, Nordoff-Robbins, and Willy Apollon's theory of child development. Whatever your interest, or your need, intake sessions are always free of charge so that we can explore working together. My practice is a welcoming space for people of all ages, cultures, orientations, and abilities.
