About
Note: Welcome! I am a Registered Provisional Psychologist passionate about helping people heal and be well. I aim to provide a comforting environment for individuals to share their concerns and connect more deeply with themselves and others. I have experience working with both adults and youth (10+) and we often have conversations about stress, anxiety, relationships and dealing with change. I also help people navigate divorce abuse, coercive control and other traumas.
I would call myself a person-centered therapist and I am trained in EMDR as well as acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and, mindfulness therapies. I am also a trained yoga instructor and have experience with other mindfulness therapies.
In addition to counselling, I also do psychoeducational assessment with children aged 6-17 years and adults. I approach assessment the same way I approach counselling and attempt to develop rapport with each child, so their assessment experience is positive.
