I work from a trauma-informed, healing-oriented perspective, integrating traditional teachings and modern, research-based psychotherapy. My approach integrates a caring presence with emotions-focused therapies, attachment theory, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), somatic (body-based) therapies, EMDR, mindfulness, transpersonal approaches, radical acceptance and self compassion, and narrative therapy. I trained with Therapsil in psilocybin-assisted psychotherapy.
I have worked in the helping profession for the past 15 years. My professional history includes private practice, providing clinical supervision, family counselling, adult and geriatric mental health, youth crisis work, supporting adults with disabilities, and crisis counselling.
