Life can be very challenging at times and ensuring you have the support you need to make it through the ups and downs is important. I am passionate about building connections with and providing support to, individuals and families who have experienced complex trauma, relationship challenges, self-esteem challenges, gender transitions, and grief. I take a collaborative and integrated approach to help clients find healing and symptom reduction. In addition to my private practice you can find me at the Fernie Women’s Resource Centre providing free counselling services 2 days a week.
I support clients using an integrated approach that draws from EMDR, Narrative Therapy, Client-Centred Therapy, Solution-focused, CBT, DBT, Art-based therapy and using our imagination
Counselling is a collaboration. I'm not here to tell you what to do or judge your choices. Instead, I work with you to help you achieve change where you feel change is needed. You can go as deep into your story as you feel or keep focused on problem-solving day-to-day stressors.
