Cassondra Wheeler is a Registered Psychotherapist providing In person and virtual services in Ontario. She is the owner of Healing Waves Psychotherapy, providing a warm and inviting therapeutic office space in Cornwall Ontario. Cassondra has over 10 years of experience helping adults and youth with complex needs and family relationships. Cassondra believes therapy services should be tailored to each individual to allow for the client to be met where they are at. Leading with compassion always and client centred approach.
Cassondra offers a safe virtual and in person space to connect, promote strengths, and assist in whatever your goals for therapy may be. Being able to feel safe, comfortable, and connected to your therapist is crucial. She welcomes client feedback through out the therapy sessions to help ensure clients needs each session are met.
Therapy techniques are tailored to the client’s needs, and include the use of cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), DBT, acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), Gottman, PACT, narrative therapy, and trauma informed therapy. I am flexible in my approach to ensure I am meeting the client where they are at always, and moving at their comfort level.
