About
I provide therapy to adults and couples experiencing diverse challenges such as symptoms related to a mental health concern, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. I am particularly passionate about women's mental health. I have extensive experience supporting clients around reproductive and maternal well-being, including concerns such as role transition challenges, infertility, and postpartum depression. I have worked as a therapist at several hospitals in Toronto. My therapeutic process recognizes client's as the expert of their experience and is founded on respect for each individual's pace.
I offer a trauma-informed and anti-oppressive approach that is individualized to each of my client's unique goals and strengths. My approach to therapy integrates techniques from several evidence-based models: Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness, Interpersonal Therapy, and Emotion-Focused Therapy.
My process aims to support clients in reducing painful emotional symptoms by developing coping strategies and empowering them to foster change. I appreciate that the therapy journey is a courageous undertaking and aim to create a space that is warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative so that clients feel safe to engage in healing and self-exploration.
