Beginning therapy or starting with a new therapist can be a daunting experience; therefore, my aim is to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment that allows you to show up as your most authentic self. My greatest priority is ensuring you feel heard, understood, respected, and comfortable within our therapeutic relationship as I know trusting someone with our deepest thoughts, feelings, and traumas can be extremely challenging. In our work together, we will collaboratively explore your concerns, experiences, and goals to help you plan a new way forward.
I support individuals, ages 16 and up, and couples from diverse backgrounds, cultures, and lived experiences. My areas of clinical focus include, but are not limited to, anxiety, depression, life transitions, grief, trauma, relational and sexual health, and existential concerns, such as loss of identity, purpose in life, and legacy.
While my treatment approach will be tailored to meet your individual needs, I frequently draw from Person-Centered, Emotion Focused, Somatic, and Mindfulness-Based approaches. I see therapy as a collaborative process between therapists and their clients; therefore, we will work as a team toward your therapeutic ambitions.
