About

The quote from William Shakespeare, "give thy negative thoughts no tongue" is an analysis of our internal thoughts process; what we believe, we become. Your internal held beliefs do not have to define your life. I can help you change your thoughts so you can change your world. Your internal thoughts have caused your life to spiral out of control. You may be struggling with a list of things including: depression, anxiety, substance abuse and/or divorce. Its time to change your thinking and bring your potential into focus.
I have dedicated my career focus in mental health on action-oriented theories. Action-oriented theories are defined as approaches that utilize direct interventions and action for the desired symptom reduction. Theories within this category are behavioral, cognitive, strategic, and solution- focused in nature.
I love the bible quote in Proverbs 4:23. 23:" Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it." If your heart is tethered, you will be chasing all the wrong things in hopes of filling a void. We do not realize how our tethered hearts can impact our finances, marriage, children, or relationships. Learn how Hartwell Counselling can help.
