I am here to listen when you are ready to share your story. I have over eight years of experience working with children, youth, and families in various therapeutic roles. I have supported individuals struggling with anxiety, low mood, gender and sexual orientation issues, and many other concerns. I support clients using a holistic model of practice that is evidence-based and client-centered. I draw upon various therapeutic frameworks to best match the needs of the client. Also, as a racialized woman belonging to the LGBTQ2S+ community, I have a unique ability to hold space for my clients who may be unheard and marginalized.
I see my role in therapy as one to help guide conversations. I believe people are inherently resilient so I will draw upon client skills in sessions and supplement those skills with resources. I work with my clients to build capacity, strengthen coping skills and develop new skills to manage their lifestyles and struggles.
