Hi, I’m Harjeet. Thank you for visiting my profile. It has been an honor to practice as a counsellor, activist and an educator for over 20 years. I’ve had the privilege to connect with people from many walks of life, across a broad range of concerns, including, grief and loss, depression and anxiety, intimate partner violence, relationship concerns, and social inequities. I use many approaches, but specialize in anti-colonial, social justice perspectives and Narrative therapy. I also provide clinical supervision and case consultation for Social Workers and Psychotherapists.
Achieving our dreams may be affected by systemic oppression such as racism, colonialism, cis-heteropatriarchy, homophobia, transphobia, and capitalism. Systemic discrimination can effect our lives materially and how we see ourselves and others. My approach links our histories and larger societal narratives together to create meaningful changes.
I will work with you to witness your journey and together we will create new stories that support your hopes, dreams and goals. I am dedicated to exploring changes in ways that are meaningful to you, and in alignment with the values and beliefs that you care for.
