Most of my clients are queer and/or fellow therapists, but I gladly work with any adult who wants to heal from trauma, childhood abuse and neglect, bullying, or low self-esteem. I help my clients feel more connected to themselves, to others, and to the life they want to live. Extreme emotions, disturbing thoughts and memories, social anxiety, and negative self-image don't have to get in the way of your relationships and life goals. With therapy, you can improve how you feel toward yourself, find inner calm, and learn how to feel safe and secure in the present.
I use therapies designed to treat trauma, primarily Internal Family Systems (Level 2 trained) and EMDR (certified), as well as attachment theory, to help you make sense of your symptoms, find self-compassion, and process the past. Healing can be daunting, so my job is to be a warm, patient, and knowledgeable guide who's on this path right alongside you.
I also provide clinical supervision to RPs and RP(Q)s (see my website for more information).
