Are you a neurodivergent person trying to navigate a neurotypical world? Or maybe you’re someone struggling with anxiety, stress, or dealing with chronic illness? Are you looking to make changes, develop coping skills and work on creating a compassionate environment for yourself where you have a greater understanding of your brain and how it interacts with the world?
I practice from a compassion-focused, trauma informed, neurodivergent -affirming lens. I am late diagnosed neurodivergent indigenous woman, so that certainly influences my approach. I have a keen understanding of how we can improve self compassion, how to manage and treat anxiety, and how the neurodivergent nervous system affects all facets of our lives.
When we struggle with a world that wasn’t made for us, we can feel isolated and alone. A therapist that fits with your needs can certainly assist in making things feel a lot less frightening. My style of therapy is developed in a way to provide you a warm, open, and non judgemental environment where you are able to speak freely and feel heard and understood.
