Do you remember when you were learning how to ride a bike? Undoubtedly, the process of learning was through trial, error, and perhaps guidance from a caregiver. It’s a common conception that a therapist’s role is to simply give advice. That is not the case. My role in our therapeutic relationship is to guide you through the process – just like learning to ride a bike for the first time. It takes effort, time, and perhaps some discomfort…But the “aha” moment of finding balance brings a sense of freedom and independence.
As a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional – Level 2 (CCTP-II), I strive to create a safe environment where you can explore your experiences and be your authentic self. Through curiosity and compassion, we can explore how you can find and maintain balance and understand how the pedals work.
I have experience with PTSD, attachment issues, depression/anxiety, spirituality, self-worth/self-esteem issues, shame, neurodivergence, and I am passionate about diversity and integrating a cultural perspective for marginalized groups/bicultural individuals.
