I am a Registered Psychologist offering in-person services in Calgary & virtual services throughout AB. I have experience working with Adults through issues such as trauma, anxiety, workplace stress/conflict, emotional regulation, childhood abuse/sexual assault, depression, boundaries, body image, disordered eating & self-esteem. I specialize in working with those who have experienced trauma. Trauma can look different for each and every person; what may be traumatizing for one, may not be for another. You define what it means for you, & together, we can work towards lessening the impact of these events.
I follow a client-centered approach and view you as being the expert in your life. I primarily utilize cognitive behavioural therapy, ACT, EMDR, mindfulness, exposure-based interventions, & somatic-based interventions, in my practice. From the moment we meet, we will work in a collaborative manner to address your concerns and achieve your goals.
I believe that as humans, we all have the capacity to move towards healing. Therapy provides a safe space in which to do this as it can be challenging to both let go of, and accept, certain parts of ourselves and our story.
