In this high-paced world, people don’t take the time to sit and talk things through – especially their problems. I’m a strong believer in the importance of talking through your problems in order to process them and gain an understanding of not only your challenges, but also what’s important to you, your strengths, and your goals. I balance my approach of processing through dialogue with my love for concrete, practical interventions and strategies. My goal as your therapist is always to provide a non-judgemental space for you to explore your difficulties while also providing practical strategies to meet your needs.
My current focus is children (ages 9+ only) and teens, but I also enjoy working with older adolescents and adults. I use a variety of modalities to meet client's needs, including CBT, DBT, Strengths-Based, Solution-Focused, and Trauma-Informed approaches. I especially love creatively adapting approaches to make them child and teen-friendly!
