About
I am a registered social worker and psychotherapist with experience providing counselling support for both individuals and groups. I work with people living with complex and multidimensional difficulties relating to depression, anxiety, trauma, and mental health conditions. My work includes a deep commitment to the well-being of my clients and my passion is to guide my clients on the journey to make the shift from surviving to thriving.
I enjoy working with people of all ages and their families. I am committed to a trauma-informed, person-centred, culturally and spiritually responsive, and strength-based approach in my practice. I work collaboratively with my clients from a non-judgmental, empathetic place, to gain insight into what is needed to make meaningful changes to their life.
My training includes Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma-based approaches, Mindfulness, and family therapy perspectives. I draw on these and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities, giving space for each person's unique capacity to heal.
