Welcome. My name is Hadassah. For the past fifteen years, my clinical practice has focused on supporting women with severe and enduring eating disorders and complex/developmental trauma. I have seen my clients persevere and overcome. You are the expert of your own experience. I know that an eating disorder can steal parts of your life. My goal is to collaboratively work with you to reclaim meaning and purpose in your life. I believe there is always hope and possibility for growth and change. My therapeutic approach is person-centred, compassion focused, and trauma informed.
Robert Frost wrote: "In three words I can sum up everything I've learned about life: IT GOES ON." Suffering, grief, and trauma are an inevitable part of life. I will support you in finding the resilience and skills to continue moving forward in your life. We will collaborate to determine how you will "go on" with strength and self-compassion.
During my psychotherapy training at the Gestalt Institute, some colleagues described my essence as a rock. I am known for my calm demeanor and grounded spirit. I will do my best to always show up with compassion and consistency. I will creatively challenge you to become your best self. It takes courage to reach out for support. I am here when you are ready.
