Life can be challenging, overwhelming and stressful. As your therapist, I am passionate about supporting you along the way. I know it can be hard reaching out, and I am here to meet you where you are in your journey. I understand the importance of building a therapeutic relationship and aim to create a safe, validating and non-judgmental space. I believe everyone has the potential to heal and the resiliency to bounce back from trauma. I have experience with an array of psychosocial and mental health challenges including mood disorders, anxiety, psychosis, depression, life transitions, stress, trauma and addictions.
I have training in evidenced based practices such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Solution Focused Therapy. In addition to offering individual therapy, I am also certified in EMDR offer consultation for therapists.
In addition to learning new tools and skills, I use evidence-based practices to help you get to the root of your challenges and struggles by creating a collaborative plan. I take a holistic approach to wellness and believe in a healthy body and mind. I am dedicated to professional growth, expanding my knowledge and supporting other therapists in the field.
