Thank you for taking this first step to take care of yourself. Seeking support is not easy when you’re feeling low. In my work I aim to empower you to make the changes that you want to see in your life, and to create a space where you feel safe to explore what's important to you and what you need to move forward. My approach to therapy is person-centered, empathetic, and collaborative. I have experience working with people with depression, anxiety, psychosis, and bipolar disorder. I can also help if you are feeling unsatisfied with life, are unmotivated, or are struggling with self-compassion or with finding balance in your life.
In my work I prioritize you as an individual and respect the path that has brought you to where you are. I take a trauma-informed approach. I mainly use Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), but also pull from other styles of therapy like Compassion-Focused, to ensure that the work we are doing in session is aligned with your personal goals and preferences.
I would be honoured to be able to be a part of your healing journey. Having worked in the mental health field for 7 years, I know that there is no single path to wellness. We all have different goals, strengths, and challenges. We also all have the power to make change in our lives. If you think we would be a good fit, please reach out for a free consult.
