Has your child received a new diagnosis? Or maybe you and your child are looking to try some new strategies to help with emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and executive functioning? Living in a world designed for neurotypicals can be quite challenging when your brain works differently! I am a neurodivergent-affirming Registered Psychotherapist who works with autistic children and teens, and/or have ADHD. I integrate my 10+ years of work experience outside of the field of psychotherapy working alongside neurodivergent people and my own sibling experience into my strengths-based practice.
I provide clients and families with new tools that celebrate neurodiversity while supporting autonomy and self-advocacy. I use an eclectic approach pulling from aspects of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) to work with clients and their families in an engaging way!
I am so excited to welcome you and your family to Dr. Gayle Goldstein & Associates! Call today to book a FREE 30 minute consultation appointment (both in-person and virtual available)!
