Teen & Parent Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT)
Teens: This group will run like a class, teaching you Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) skills for: greater emotional regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness skills (healthy relationships, boundary setting, self-advocacy), and mindfulness strategies. Teen sessions will be held Tuesdays at 6-7 PM in-person at Monarch House Oakville. Parents: Parents will learn skills in a VIRTUAL parent group to support their teens. Sessions will be held every Thursday evening at 6-7 PM.

Child and Parent Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
Does your child experience emotions that come on FAST and are really BIG? Using a Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) approach, this group will run in a class format, teaching you and your child skills to: regulate big emotions, help tolerate distress, cultivate healthy relationships with others, and pay full attention to what we are doing and feeling in the moment (mindfulness). Group will be held in-person at Monarch House Oakville on Mondays from 5 to 6 PM.

Exploring My Neurodiversity Group
Have you received a new diagnosis or want to explore more about what neurodivergence means to you? This group will dive into how neurodivergence can show up differently for everyone and, using a strengths-based approach, explore topics such as: how a neurodivergent brain processes information differently, feelings and thoughts you may have about your neurodivergence, and how to advocate for your different needs. Group will be held on Thursdays from 5-6 PM.
