I enjoy connecting with people by providing a safe space for them to share their thoughts and feelings. We will work together to overcome the challenges of the past, and take steps together to shape the future with what works best for you. Sometimes it can be a crisis that makes you seek out counselling, in working together, you will discover that the crisis may have been exactly what was needed to help you make some important changes to improve your life. Taking the first step in asking for help takes tremendous courage, the next step typically includes finding the right counsellor for you.
I use a supportive, non-judgmental approach to support my clients. I have supported clients through their struggles with depression, anxiety, childhood trauma and neglect, stress, self-esteem and identity, relationship problems, and other concerns. I will help you define your goals for counselling, and help you reach them in a timely and efficient manner.
I also specialize in grief, and help with issues surrounding dying, death, and loss. If you've been diagnosed with an illness and you have a fight ahead of you, I'm happy to be the person to listen.
