If you want to speak to someone who won't judge, really listens, and can help you find your best self, I would love to hear from you. The first priority is finding a therapist you feel safe with. We begin by exploring the issues and understanding the challenges, but the real work is learning to be gentle with ourselves as we acknowledge the need for a change. We implement new self-care practices, heal the root of whatever is getting in the way, and the find peace you are looking for. I am available for quick response appointments in person and online.
I work with all kinds of mental health issues and am comfortable with neurodiversity. In my strengths-based and trauma-informed practice, I have found Brainspotting to be particularly helpful for all kinds of clients. It is a relatively new treatment that helps the brain heal itself beneath the level of words.
It takes courage to reach out for support and inviting change is very powerful. When we realize the way we have have been doing things no longer works it can be particularly hard to to carry on.
