Children, teens, and families who come to my practice are often navigating emotional regulation challenges, anxiety, ADHD, neurodiversity, behavioural concerns, family transitions, or difficulties in connection at home or school. Parents may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure how to best support their child. Our team helps by creating a safe, attuned space where children can express themselves through play and relationship, while caregivers receive guidance to better understand and respond to their child’s needs. We focus on strengthening emotional safety, improving regulation, and supporting healthier family connection.
With children we use toys and games as play/art therapy has proven to be an effective way to help kids. Using talk therapy, we also support pre-teens, youth and adults dealing with life transitions, relationships, and emotional challenges. We actively collaborate with the school system, other mental health professionals, and lawyers/mediators.
