Starting therapy can be daunting but it’s one of the best investments you can make in yourself. I strive to create a non-judgemental, collaborative space guided by compassionate curiosity in which we can explore your fears, anxieties, relationships and general life challenges. Working together, we explore new ways of understanding your inner self, your world and your relationships and examine old patterns that may no longer serve you well and seek to create new ones that are more effective.
I see both individuals and couples for therapy. My approach is psychodynamic and incorporates EFT and IFS. We'll work together to examine the sometimes-hidden motivations and processes that may be contributing negatively to your current situation or issues. We’ll work on the issues that you wish to explore at a pace that works for you.
My professional background is varied, including working as an audio engineer and touring musician, a creative services client representative and project manager. I come to psychotherapy after several years in advocacy and caregiving roles dealing with end-of-life issues, acute care and disability.
