Psychologists and clinicians at the West Niagara Psychology Centre provide psychological assessment and treatment services to children, adolescents, and adults, including individual, marital, and group therapy and comprehensive developmental and psychological assessments. We provide client centred services that focus on the individual needs of the clients and their families.
Client centred, psychological therapy is approached from a variety of theoretical orientations including: Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Dynamic and Process Oriented therapy, Emotion Focussed Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. We offer groups related to anxiety, stress reduction, emotion regulation, and mindfulness.
Psychological assessments are completed to understand personal strengths and needs and to determine the presence of an underlying learning, attention, behavioral, developmental, or social emotional difficulty. Disability and assessment for treatment assessments are also provided.
