For the entirety of my career, I have focused on supporting people. This is my life’s work and passion. I work with clients to help them build the skills to live each day from a place of courage, connection, and compassion. I have more than 25+ years of extensive experience working therapeutically with a wide array of clients struggling with relationship conflicts, grief and loss, occupational stress, as well as emotional and behavioural concerns.
I have worked with clients in a variety of settings including mental health, employee assistance, and the public school system. I have also been an Instructor with the Faculty of Social Work and the Faculty of Education at the University of Manitoba.
As a therapist, I Truly Believe... It takes courage to ask for and accept help. We can do hard things and we can be stronger for it. Small steps in the right direction adds up to big change. We can stop feeling shame when we share our story with someone who can hear it with empathy and understanding.
