I collaborate with clients to help them pursue healing, growth, and change in their lives. I support clients as they work through trauma due to present and past events, and to form meaning and purpose moving forward. I combine EMDR, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), and play therapy, depending on clients' needs. I offer family mediation for those experiencing separation or divorce, to improve communication and build a path forward. I work with individuals, couples, and children. My hope is that clients achieve personal goals, connectedness, resolution, and the ability to face life head on.
I support clients in areas such as, but not limited to: trauma, communication, anger management, depressive disorders, anxiety, domestic violence, and stress reduction. When working with children I use play therapy techniques, and offer parenting support to parents/caregivers throughout the process. Mediation decreases cost, stress, and protects children.
Life has many challenges, and these changing times have certainly added to this. I encourage you to use the supports that are available to you, and believe that counselling is an excellent option!
