English
| Français Hi, as an art therapist, I use the creative process and visual arts mediums to encourage self-exploration and self-expression, address blockages and regain empowerment. I accompany you through various challenges using a tool available to everyone: creativity. My clinical experience has led me to work in mental health and with a population who have experienced complex traumas. I can help you addressing difficulties related to anxiety, depression and self-esteem using different approaches, including psychodynamic, humanistic, mindfulness, transcultural and systemic approaches, and play therapy.

I also specialize in adoption, meaning I support you in exploring and developing your identity - adoptive and bicultural. Using the creative expression allows us to observe from a different perspective the impact of your adoption story on relationships, self-perception, and self-esteem. I offer individual and group therapy.
Being adopted, I quickly wanted to understand how this impacted on who I was as a person, and my personal reflections have led me to become involved with other adoptees.

Exploration and definition of adoptive identity

Through the creative process, discussions and shared experience, explore and define your adoptive identity. The 7 sessions are divided in two parts: exploring the past and present. Themes include the adopted, found, and abandoned child, as well as the false and real self. Adoptees may face particular issues, including fear of abandonment and difficulties in affirming themselves. Art therapy can facilitate the expression of emotions and thoughts and allow one to understand and integrate parts of their personal experience, while being accompanied and supported on their journey.
