At Gabrielle Cormier Counselling Centre, we believe therapy should feel supportive, collaborative, and human. Our clinicians work with children, teens, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, overwhelm, life transitions, self-esteem, and relationship challenges while helping clients build practical coping skills and deeper self-understanding. We offer both in-person and virtual sessions, with no waitlist for select clinicians, serving Fredericton and surrounding areas.
Our Team
People come for therapy for so many different reasons. Some are looking for clarity and deeper understanding. Some are looking for healing in their relationships or within themselves. Some are looking for a lifeline or a last resort. Everyone is holding their own type of pain and also some sort of hope for how counselling might help them.
I believe that healing is possible and consider it a true privilege to do this work. It does not have to look picture perfect or the same as someone else. I use an integrative approach with IFS, EMDR therapy, talk therapy, etc. and work with my clients to find the right fit for them.

I’ve worked in the mental health field for 9 years, supporting clients aged 12+ through anxiety, trauma, grief, relationship challenges, stress, and life transitions. I tailor my approach to each person’s experiences, needs, and goals.
I draw from CBT and ACT to help clients understand patterns, navigate difficult emotions, and create meaningful change. I also provide EMDR therapy to support clients in processing trauma and distressing life experiences.

With a decade of experience as an educator and a background focused on childhood experience and development, I bring a grounded, practical understanding of growth and learning to my therapeutic work. Currently a counselling intern completing my Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology, I draw on my perspectives as both an educator and a mother to offer an inclusive, compassionate space where every story is valued and heard without judgment.

If you're feeling stuck, exhausted, or unsure of what comes next, you're in the right place. My approach is grounded in genuine presence and connection. I create a space where you feel comfortable to start: to say the thing you've been avoiding, to ask for help, to admit you're not okay, or to simply show up and see what happens. Together, we'll move toward a life that feels more like yours again.
I am particularly interested in working with HR professionals, leaders, and high achievers navigating burnout, career transitions, and the quiet weight of always holding it together for everyone else.

Substance use and early recovery can leave individuals and families wondering what to do next. You may be trying to stop or reduce your substance use, rebuild your life after treatment, or figure out how to help someone you love without making things worse.
I specialize in helping individuals and families navigate these often-confusing stages of recovery. As a Canadian Certified Addictions Counsellor, I use well-studied, evidence-informed approaches to help people understand what is happening, develop practical strategies, and move toward greater stability, healing, and connection.
