About
I believe that suffering can become an opportunity to better know yourself as well as your needs. I find this citation from Leonard Cohen particularly representative of my vision of psychotherapy ''There is crack in everything, that's how the light gets in.'' I offer individual therapy for adults in English and French. My office is located in Outremont, Montreal. I can help with difficulties such as depression, anxiety, life transitions, burnout, existential issues (death, loneliness, meaning of life, life choices, etc.), relational difficulties, self-esteem and emotional regulation.
My philosophy is to accompany you and offer you a space to think about your difficulties or patterns in which you feel stuck, connecting with your emotions and experiment through therapy new ways of being. I emphasize the exploration and deepening of the emotional experience.
My main approach is intersubjective self-psychology and humanist-existential. I emphasize the therapeutic alliance as a vehicule for change. I work week days during the day (no evenings or early morning). The format of therapy that I offer works best with weekly sessions.
