I am a Metis, neurodivergent (ADHD) woman with over 20 years in counselling and mental health experience, including working with those who have diagnosed mental health issues. My practice is aimed at creating a safe space for all humans, with a particular focus on creating a safe and trauma-informed space for LGBTQ2S+, neurodivergent and Indigenous folks. I have been gifted the opportunity to work with many trans and nonbinary individuals and relationships, as well as to provide a safe space for those navigating polyamory/ENM relationships.
Trained as a systemic therapist through the Masters of Marriage and Family Therapy program with the University of Winnipeg and EMDR Clinician through EMDRIA, I am committed to continued learning and growth as a practitioner. My approach is a blend of IFS, narrative therapy, EMDR and EMDR 2.0.
I create a safe space for folks to reflect, gain insight and process trauma. My approach is one of walking alongside folks, holding space for critical reflection and growth. My approach is to use EMDR/EMDR 2.0, alongside IFS, to process trauma and create new pathways for understanding our experiences.
