Struggles with self esteem & confidence, navigating interpersonal relationships, anxiety & stress, finding relief from PTSD & trauma are some of the areas I work with. I also help those who feel confused with their work or life path. You are unique, and your therapy should reflect this. I tailor sessions to your distinct needs. What makes me different as a therapist? I am refreshingly active and creative in session. My clients feel heard, seen, and appreciated as I am always present with them. I also interject humour therapeutically.
Taking the first step to enter therapy is daunting, and I respect that can be difficult. I aim to help you take this step so we can work together toward the growth you desire. I am well-versed in several therapy models, and work from an evidence-based framework. I am very comfortable with clients of various cultures, identities and belief systems.
I am one of the few Psychotherapists in Canada certified in Reconsolidation Therapy, a highly effective trauma treatment for PTSD and Adjustment Disorder. I can help with trauma that is life-changing or simply; a little de-railing. I am also trained holistically, meaning I take into account your biological and social functioning as we are complex beings.
