Clients who struggle with addiction, anxiety and depression with a therapist who comes from an anti oppressive lens, trauma informed and solution focused.
The work is how to support clients to find their way to better understand their needs and wants. To use skills and techniques on how to encourage the clients to see they matter, are seen and are valued. Specialty would be trauma informed care, LGBTQ, family conflict and grief.
I am a Registed Social Worker who worked in the field of addictions and mental health for the past 26 years. It’s important to help people understand that they are not broken, and to discover their own enormous courage, resilience and potential. My focus is supporting clients with life issues to help them find alternative ways to cope.
