Welcome! I am a Registered Psychologist in Alberta and have over 15 years of experience working as a clinician with adults in outpatient hospital and community settings as well as in private practice. I completed a Master’s degree in Epidemiology and Biostatistics and one in Counselling Psychology at the University of Toronto in 2008, and have since worked with clients on a range of mental health concerns including difficulties regulating emotions, anger, trauma, impulsive behaviours, relationship issues, depression and anxiety.
I have training and experience in a variety of modalities of therapy including EMDR, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure and humanistic approaches. My therapeutic approach is largely integrative and I often draw on several types of therapy depending on clients’ needs.
I am passionate about supporting clients in developing insight, inner resources and new skills, to enable more effective ways of navigating life struggles and to improve quality of life. My approach is client centred and collaborative and I strive to provide a safe and nonjudgmental environment to support individuals in achieving their therapy goals.
