I specialize in the treatment of child, youth and family mental health concerns, including: ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, self-harm, OCD, anger, Autism/aspergers, separation/divorce, and behaviour problems (defiance, aggression, hostility). I have over 15 years of experience in child and youth mental health, including work in community counselling centers, hospital psychiatric treatment, and residential treatment centers.
Child and adolescent problems can create chaos in your home and impact your child's relationship with you. I offer families concrete solutions and strategies to address their concerns. My training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Art therapy, and family therapy provides me the tools to help your family achieve wellness and happiness.
I have offices in Oakville and Welland. I also provide services to adult women struggling with Depression, Anxiety, Mood disorders and trauma. My office in Welland is walking distance to Niagara College, and I am pleased to support post-secondary students in their needs.

Social Skills for grades sk-6
This social skills program is specifically designed to meet the learning needs of children impacted by ADHD, Aspergers/ASD, Non-Verbal Learning Disabilities, and other struggles that negatively impact social skills. Help your child learn conflict resolution, anger management, how to get along with adults, how to handle teasing, and how to read social cues. Next group begins April 28th. Limit of 6 children per session, so register early!

Teen Coping Skills
Through this 10 week coping skills group, teen participants 12-17 will learn the skills to manage and cope with intense emotions in a safe and productive manner. This group program is ideal for teens struggling with feelings of depression or anxiety, self-harm, peer &/or parent relationship issues, self-esteem, or anger concerns. Program begins April 25th, 2012. Spaces are limited. Please register early.
