If this is your first time looking for a counsellor, congratulations! You have taken the first step to wellness; you can do this! I like to think of myself as someone who attempts to make genuine connections with others and someone who wants to learn more about you because YOU are the expert on your life. I would like to be supportive to you without judgement while you guide me through your personal experiences and future goals on your personal journey to wellness.

You can't always control what happens in your life, but you can control your reactions and behaviours. When you focus on the things you can control, real healing can happen. It will take some work, and some time, but it is possible. We are here to help you!

Jennifer acknowledges that everyone is an expert in their own life story and the experiences that have shaped them. Jennifer understands how stress and trauma impact mental health, relationships with loved ones, behaviours, coping and overall wellbeing. Jennifer’s philosophy is meeting people where they are at and gives clients the space to work at the pace they are comfortable with. My practice, Carter’s Counselling, has come about as a result of my passion for working with people from all different walks of life. I have been working within the human services field for the last ten years. I have experience working with children and youth within the school system, as well as for the Saskatchewan Health Authority in the area of Mental Health & Addictions. I have been in the education and social wellness field for almost 20 years, specializing in counselling individuals and couples to live purposeful, joy filled lives by focusing on Mental and Emotional work first. Cathy Nickel, BA(Adv)Psy, C.Hyp is a trained professional with over 30 years of experience as an individual, group, family and marriage counsellor. Cathy is also available for workshops and lectures. Cathy is respectful of her clients. She uses a multidisciplinary approach. Cathy has recently added Clinical Counselling Hypnotherapy to her practice and she is finding it a very transformative tool. Cathy is known as being straightforward and courteous. Cathy is gifted in bringing out the positives in her therapy sessions. She is also a Usui trained Reiki Master and teacher.

Dr. Sojonky's practice is rooted in a trans-personal and relational approach to healing. This means people come first! Todd has practiced throughout Canada working with people in the areas of stress, depression, grief, anxiety, eating disorders, marriage and family issues and addictions. He is a published author and has lectured throughout Canada and in Ireland. Todd has been a sessional lecturer at the University of Regina for over ten years teaching in the areas of counseling methods, ethics, personality, addictions and psychotherapy.
