After receiving a masters in criminology from the University of Ottawa, I completed a placement in sexual behaviours working with the forensic population. I also completed a 2nd master in counselling, spirituality and psychotherapy at Saint Paul University. I have several years of experience in brain injury rehabilitation as well as with those suffering from co-occurring mental health and addiction issues. My areas of speciality are in sex therapy and alternative relationship styles, mental health and addictions.

As a psychotherapist I am dedicated to improving the health and well being of my clients and it is my goal to make the therapeutic process as comfortable as possible. I work from a positive psychology perspective geared towards increasing confidence, self-esteem and helping you recognize your own individual strengths. Welcome to my page. If you're feeling overwhelmed, stressed, unsure, or confused about what's to come this year please know that you're not alone. 2020 presented us with many challenges that contributed to stress in our communities, families, and within our own personal experiences. Many people feel stuck after the holiday season ends and the cold temperatures creep in. Increasing self-validation of those stuck feelings while simultaneously not getting sucked into them is possible! We do not have to be happy all the time and we can find ways of grounding into and accepting any emotions that show up in our daily lives.

Deciding to seek counselling takes courage! Together we work towards finding solutions or new ways of thinking. I believe that most people are stronger than they think and I encourage them to recognize and utilize their strength. I offer bilingual counseling services (english and french) to children, teens and adults. Services are available to address issues such as anxiety, depression, self-esteem, trauma, stress, parenting, postpartum mood disorders, divorce, etc. It is important to me that my clients feel comfortable when they see me and that they feel like they are not alone.
