My name is Robert, Psychologist at the Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD) Disorder and Anxiety Clinic of Ontario. I walk alongside individuals who struggle with anxiety and OCD as they journey through healing and recovery. I work exclusively with patients with anxiety and obsessive-compulsive (OCD) disorder and I dedicate my time away from patients to researching and studying these conditions. I work with my patients on taking that knowledge and putting it into practice by teaching them how to control their anxious or disturbing thoughts, compulsive behaviors, and unsettled mind.
I'm a Psychologist and Psychotherapist with an area of focus specific to Obsessive-Compulsive (OCD) Disorder and anxiety disorders. My research interests are heavily invested in OCD. I work often with advanced OCD cases and consult with many healthcare professionals in Canada. I'm a member of the International Foundation for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder.
As a Registered Psychologist and Psychotherapist, I'm dedicated and devoted to helping my patients heal and see success through their journey. I'm passionate about therapy and helping others grow and reach their true potential. The OCD program that I offer is research based and includes CBT, ERP, ACT, and IBA. I run an OCD support group that helps individuals with exposure and response prevention. The OCD group is run every week on Friday's at 9am. We work on: learning to manage OCD symptoms through an ERP lens, learning to tolerate uncertainty, how to manage with anxiety when completely and exposure, how to have your family support you on your OCD journey and lastly OCD relapse prevention. The goal of the group is to empower you with the tools to help you facilitate exposure on your own. We want you to succeed in your OCD recovery.
