I treat anxiety and depression. These conditions often stem from trauma either from childhood or as an adult. I also work with couples via an Emotionally Focused Therapy which is an approach to couples therapy based on attachment. I believe that an integrative approach, focusing on the whole person, as well as their significant relationships which I believe comprise one's total health and wellness.
Trauma can impact a person's life many years after the experience of abuse or loss leading to becoming addicted, depressed, or anxious. I utilize a body based approach to address stress and to help clients achieve wellness. An experienced and well trained person can be an effective and efficient route to healing and personal growth.
